I met Don in Alameda, CA. We'd gone into the Island city to meet parents for breakfast at their favorite local spot. The Red Shark was parked in front of the eatery and I could see a guy checking out the car. He seemed interested and not suspicious. I went out to see if he had any questions. Turned out I was the one who had plenty of questions for him.

I'd met the BMW Guy I'd been looking for.

Don liked the Red Shark, all right, and I liked listening to him go on about his shop with several, yes several, BMW 3.0 CS-es. We exchanged contacts and agreed to make a date for me to enter his sanctuary. When I did, it was "wow!" factored many times over.

Yes, the BMW E9s were there: 2800 CS & 3.0 CS/CSI and I empasize the plural!

It was a place I'd visit more than once. Worth it for the people I'd meet there along with the cars! The photo here is from stock.
